Eleenova (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) assures the purchaser of the “Eleenova Electric Rice Cooker”
(hereinafter referred to as the “Electric Rice Cooker”) that the product is free from any defects in material and
workmanship. This warranty is valid for one year on the product and five years on the heating plate from the date
of original purchase, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The warranty card must be completed and signed by the dealer at the time of purchase.
2. Servicing of the Electric Rice Cooker should be conducted only at the Company’s Regional Service Centre or
an Authorized Service Centre (addresses provided in this manual).
3. The customer is responsible for transporting the Electric Rice Cooker to the nearest Company Regional
Service Centre or Authorized Service Centre at their own cost and risk.
4. The Company will make every effort to perform the service or replacement under this warranty as promptly
as possible, but does not guarantee completion within any specific timeframe.
5. The warranty will remain in force only for the unexpired period of the original warranty, in relation to the
repair or replacement of parts of the Electric Rice Cooker.
6. The Electric Rice Cooker must be used strictly for domestic purposes and in accordance with the user manual.
7. The Company will not be held liable for any accidents, losses, or damages (direct or indirect) to persons or
property caused by:
• Repairs or service performed by unauthorized personnel.
• Overloading, misuse, abuse, or negligence.
• Defects caused by improper or reckless use.
• Use of non-genuine or old, spurious parts.
• Failure to adhere to safety precautions or maintenance tips suggested by the Company.
• Alteration, defacement, or removal of the original serial number.
8. The Company is not responsible for any special, consequential damages, or loss arising directly or indirectly
from any delay in the performance of this warranty.
9. The Company reserves the right to retain any part or component at its Authorized Service Centre, and will
decide at its sole discretion whether to repair or replace parts or components.
10. This warranty does not cover any payment or monetary compensation and is limited solely to product
replacement.
11. Electrical parts are not covered under the warranty as they are subject to wear and tear. Replacement of these
parts will be chargeable.
12. Regular check-ups of electrical appliances and wire points by an authorized service person are recommended.
13. Electrical appliances are prone to voltage fluctuations; therefore, precautions should be taken before use. The
Company is not responsible for any damage to electrical parts resulting from such issues.
14. After the warranty period expires, the Authorized Service Centre will charge for the replacement of components
based on the MRP.
15. The Company’s decision is final in all complaint cases.
16. Any complaints or disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the Courts of Bengaluru

Care Instructions

Avoid Overloading Sockets: Do not plug the Electric Rice Cooker into a
multi-socket that is sharing power with other appliances in simultaneous
use.
Keep Away from Heat Sources: Ensure the Electric Rice Cooker is not
placed near stoves, open flames, or other heat sources. Avoid placing the
cooker bowl on an LPG stove in case of a power failure.
Water Safety: Do not wash or immerse the main body of the Electric Rice
Cooker in water, as it could damage the electrical insulation.
Handle the Cooking Pan with Care: Avoid scraping or dropping the
cooking pan, as dents and deformations can lead to poor contact with
the heating plate, resulting in malfunction.
Only Operate with Cooking Pan in Place: Never switch on the cooker
unless the cooking pan is properly placed inside the main body.
Caution with Steam Vent: The steam vent on the outer lid releases hot steam during cooking. Avoid
touching it with your hands.
Keep the Steam Vent Clear: Do not cover the steam vent while cooking is in progress to ensure
proper steam release.
Use Gloves for Hot Surfaces: Always use gloves when handling the cooking pan, as it will be hot and
could cause burns
Heater Safety: Do not touch the heater immediately after cooking, as it remains hot and can
cause burns.
10. Automatic Warm Mode: Allow the cooker to automatically switch to “warm” mode. Manual
intervention is only necessary for dishes other than rice.

Regular Electrical Checks: Periodically inspect the electric sockets, cord, and plug for any
damage. Avoid using the appliance with a damaged plug or cord, and ensure the cord is not
twisted, knotted, or stretched.
12. Proper Unplugging: When unplugging the cooker, hold the plug firmly and pull it out. Never pull
by the cord.
13. Keep Cooking Area Clean: Ensure that there are no water, dust, or food particles between the
cooking pan and the heating element or thermostat, as this could affect cooking results and
damage the heating components.
14. Unplug When Not in Use: Always unplug the Electric Rice Cooker when it is not in use.
15. Keep Out of Reach of Children: Do not allow children to operate the Electric Rice Cooker.
16. Use Recommended Attachments Only: Only use attachments that are recommended by the
manufacturer.

Your Eleenova Electric Rice Cooker operates on a 230V AC, 50 Hz power supply. Ensure your
power source matches these requirements before use.
1. Prepare the Rice: Measure the desired amount of rice using the provided measuring
cup. Transfer it to a separate container for washing-do not wash the rice directly in
the cooking pan, as it could lead to damage or deformation, affecting the Rice cooker’s
performance.
2. Soak for Better Results: For improved texture, soak the rice in water for about 30
minutes before cooking.
3. Set Up the Cooking Pan: Place the trivet at the bottom of the cooking pan, then add the
soaked rice on top. Add water according to the type of dish you’re preparing, as per the
guide below. Avoid pouring rice and water simultaneously to prevent rice from slipping
under the trivet and browning.
4. Adjust water quantities based on your preferences, rice quality, and type. You’ll get a feel
for the right amount after a few uses.
5. Ensure Even Cooking: Spread the rice evenly across the bottom of the pan to avoid
uneven cooking
6. Clean the Pan Exterior: Before placing the cooking pan in the main body, wipe off any dust or
food particles from the outer surface, thermostat, and heater to avoid damage.
7. Place the Cooking Pan: Insert the cooking pan into the main body of the
cooker. Gently rotate it left and right to ensure proper seating. Improper
positioning can damage the heater.
8. Cover and Connect: Place the lid on the cooking pan. Plug the power cord into
a wall socket, at which point the “Warm” indicator light will turn on.
9. Start Cooking: Press the “Cook” button to begin cooking. The “Cook” indicator will light up. If you
do not press the button, the cooker will default to “Warm” mode when powered on.
10. No Empty Cooking Pan: The “Cook” button will not engage unless the cooking pan is in place. Do
not place an empty pan in the cooker.

Automatic Shift to Warm Mode: Once the rice is cooked, the “Cook” indicator will turn off, and the
cooker will automatically switch to “Warm” mode.
12. Let the Rice Rest: Leave the cooker in “Warm” mode for at least 15 minutes after cooking. This
final step ensures the rice is fully cooked. It’s recommended to always use the trivet when cooking
rice to avoid browning at the bottom.
13. Serve and Store: After 15 minutes in “Warm” mode, open the cooker and fluff the rice with the
provided scoop, then replace the lid.
14. Avoid Extended Warm Mode: Keeping the rice in “Warm” mode for more than
6 hours may cause it to develop an unpleasant odor.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR ELEENOVA ELECTRIC RICE COOKER

1. Unplug and Cool: Before cleaning, unplug the power cord and allow the cooker to cool down
completely.
2. Clean the Cooking Pan: Fill the cooking pan with water and a mild cleaning agent, letting it soak
for 10-15 minutes. Then, clean it using a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Clean the Lid: Wipe the lid with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with water or a mild cleanser.
Avoid using sandpaper, brushes, or other abrasive materials that could damage the pan.
4. Avoid Immersing the Body: Never immerse the main body of the cooker in water, as this could
lead to electric shock or malfunction by allowing water to enter the electrical components.
5. Wipe the Exterior: Clean the body of the cooker with a dry cloth only.
6. Clean the Heating Plate: Use a dry cloth to wipe the heating plate and remove any food spills.
7. Check Steam Vent Holes: Ensure that the steam vent holes on the lid are clear and not blocked.
These vents are essential for releasing steam during cooking.
Special Instructions
Reheating Cooked Rice: To reheat rice, simply sprinkle a small amount of water evenly over the rice in
the cooking pan, & then set the Eleenova Electric Rice Cooker to “Cook” mode.


Note:
You’ll need to monitor the cooking time for non-rice dishes manually.
Manually switch the cooker to “Warm” mode while there’s still some water left in the pan to avoid
overcooking.
Important: Ensure the Eleenova Electric Rice Cooker never runs dry or overheats.
Preparing Idli or Soup:
Idli :
Add two cups of water to the cooking pan, then switch the cooker to “Cook” mode. Once the water starts steaming,
place the idli stand with the batter inside, cover with the lid, and steam for 15 minutes. After cooking, remove the
stand and let the idlis cool before serving. Keep an eye on the water level to ensure it doesn’t dry out.
Soup :
Begin by adding vegetables and the required amount of water to the cooking pan. Close the lid and set the cooker
to “Cook” mode. Once the vegetables are soft, remove them, allow them to cool, and blend them using a mixer
or hand blender. Strain the puree, return it to the cooking pan, and season with salt and pepper before serving.
