WARRANTY TERMS
Your Eleenova Pressure Cooker is backed by a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase. During this period, any manufacturing defect or quality issue will be repaired or replaced free of cost. This warranty is valid under the following conditions:
1. The pressure cooker is intended strictly for household use. It must be used in accordance with the instructions provided in the user manual.
2. Warranty services must be availed only through authorised Eleenova Service Centres or designated company support partners.
3. The cooker gasket should be replaced annually or sooner if worn out. This warranty does not cover consumable parts like the Metallic Safety Plug, Handles, Screws, Weight Valve, Vent Tube as these are subject to regular wear and tear and need periodic replacement. Such parts will need to be purchased by the customer.
4. All warranty-related decisions taken by Eleenova shall be final and binding.
5. This warranty is not applicable to cookers that have been fitted with non-genuine or imitation spare parts, or those damaged due to mishandling or improper use.
6. Warranty claims must be supported with a valid purchase bill stamped and signed by the dealer, along with the cooker. Claims without proper documentation will not be accepted.
7. Damage resulting from overheating, dry heating, surface scratches, discolouration, separation of base layers, or use on commercial burners or firewood is not covered. Industrial gas burners and excessive heat void the warranty.
8. Use of unauthorised or counterfeit spare parts automatically voids the warranty.
9. The Company will not be held liable for any accidents, losses, or damages (direct or indirect) to persons or property caused by:
Repairs or service performed by unauthorized personnel.
Overloading, misuse, abuse, or negligence.
Defects caused by improper or reckless use.

11. The Company reserves the right to retain any part or component at its Authorized Service Centre, and will decide at its sole discretion whether to repair or replace parts or components.
12. This warranty does not cover any payment or monetary compensation and is limited solely to product replacement.

Care instructions
1.Carefully read all instructions before using the product.
2. Before placing the Pressure Regulating Device (PRD) or vent weight, make sure the steam escapes freely from the vent nozzle.
3. Avoid touching hot surfaces. Always use handles or knobs provided.
4. Do not leave the cooker unattended while in use.
5. Never operate the cooker on a heated empty base or in a heated oven.
6. Always handle the cooker with care when it's hot or pressurised.
7. This pressure cooker is intended for domestic use only. Do not use it for frying or industrial applications.
8. As the appliance works under pressure, ensure it is fully sealed and the lid is properly locked before use.
9. Never fill the cooker beyond 2/3rd of its total capacity. For foods that expand (like dal, rice, or vegetables), do not fill more than 1/2 to avoid blockage.
10. Avoid using ingredients known to foam or froth excessively, such as applesauce, cranberries, pasta, rhubarb, or oats, as they may block the vent.
11. Ensure the vent tube is clean and unobstructed before every use.
12. Never try to open the lid while the cooker is still pressurised. Wait for the steam to release and handles to move freely.
13. Only use the Eleenova Pressure Cooker for pressure cooking. It is not suitable for deep frying or oil-based cooking.
14. Do not exceed the recommended pressure of 1 kgf/cm2.
15. Do not tamper with or remove the vent weight during use.
16. Ensure the cooker lid is securely locked and aligned with the body before heating.
17. Never lift the vent weight forcefully. Wait until pressure drops naturally.
18. Avoid using the cooker on a burner that is too small, unstable, or uneven.
19. If safety valves, plugs, or gaskets appear worn out, replace them with authorised Eleenova parts only.
20. Do not reuse damaged or deformed sealing gaskets.
21. Always check that the sealing gasket is properly fitted and free of cracks before use. 22. Replace safety plug or metallic plug once every year or sooner if required.
23. Do not use the cooker for unintended purposes.
24. Never attempt to pressure cook foods that tend to foam, froth, or rise significantly. 25. Avoid placing the cooker on open flames without sufficient water inside-it may damage the cooker.
26. Do not overheat the cooker body as it may discolour or weaken over time.
27. Never store cooked food or water in the cooker for long durations. Avoid cleaning with harsh scrubbers or in a dishwasher.
28. Do not bang or tap spoons or ladles on the rim of the cooker as it may damage the sealing surface, leading to steam leakage.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is meant for household use only.
How to use your Eleenova Product
Check the Vent Tube
Ensure the steam vent is clear and unobstructed.
Look through the hole-you should be able to see daylight. If blocked, clean it with a pin before use.
Fit the Gasket Correctly
Fit the gasket properly into the groove inside the lid.
Make sure it's seated evenly for an airtight seal.
Lock the Lid in Place
Align the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the body handle.
Press the lid down slightly and turn it clockwise until the handles
align perfectly.
Placing the Cooker on Heat Source
Place the sealed cooker on a heat source.
Don't place the Weight Valve until Steam Comes out.
Suitable for gas stoves, induction cooktops, Halogen Heaters, kerosene stoves & electric heaters.
For smaller cookers, always use a burner that matches the size of the base to prevent damage from overheating.
Attach the Weight Valve
After a few minutes, you'll notice a steady jet of steam from the vent tube.
Now place the weight valve firmly on the vent and press down until it locks with a click.
Placing the Spill Bowl on the Pressure Cooker Lid (Applicable only to models that include a Spill Bowl)
1. Take the spill bowl and align the hole at its bottom with the
2.vent tube on the cooker lid. Place it gently so that it fits firmly at the base of the vent tube.
Insert the whistle (weight valve) onto the vent tube as usual. 3. Close the cooker lid in the normal way.
4. The spill bowl washer can be removed and cleaned separately. Ensure the washer is fixed back properly before use.
5. The amount of spillage collected may vary depending on
cooking conditions. This product is designed to collect spillage under standard cooking
use.
Cooking Under Pressure
Once the cooker builds full pressure, the weight valve will release a Weight Valve. Reduce the heat and begin timing your recipe from this point.
Releasing Pressure Safely
| Once cooking is complete, switch off the stove and let the cooker cool down naturally. Do not try to force open the lid.
To check if the pressure has dropped, gently nudge the weight valve.
| If steam escapes, wait a bit longer.
Opening the Cooker
| Once all steam has released, remove the weight valve.
Turn the lid handle counter-clockwise and gently lift it open.
